 Thought  how they going to translate to audio as i  noticed did  not have to change lot from  the TV version , you get   feel the avengers show of its   early roots  of  underground crime  and  steed  is  man mystery  at the begging and   starts as Dr David keel  show  and no one at time  the show have cult following  and go though nanny changes  this show that run from 1961-68 and almost  lost  its early episodes and find how diffident the first series was  compare to  the crazy  plots of the later ones are  .I enjoy the first adventure as big finish

have done great job feeling the missing gaps to this lost story also you will find first part of hot snow on tunnel of fear that still  exist  to enjoy DVD   I am happy with  audio performance of the  big finish avengers cast  to bring life  back the avengers .

THE FORGOTTEN AVENGERS

 

The Avengers  TV series was very different  show  to  the one what lot people  think is the avengers from  the  Emma Peel  and steed  years   as to the lost years of  Avengers was more believable plots that deal  with underground crimes , protection , smuggling secrets  , Russian  cold war plots you  find  steed more darker  in the early years  of the avengers way he uses people ware he has had good ticking  off by  doctor David Keel few times  a big welcome to find  lost  complete episode and interesting  to compare big finish  version  to new find of tunnel of fear  episode on the DVD  also two interviews  from 1962 and 1964  which also a rare to  exist from time they would  wipe after broadcast  now  have 3 full episodes from 1961  first series . I highly  recommend you look at  Venus smith episodes as she is one the forgotten avengers girls  from 1962   season 2 ,she has great  singing voice in  some  great adventures too also  try to hear 1971 radio  series of the avengers based on TV scripts  that broadcast in the south Africa  we lucky to theses  some episodes are lost forever .

This is worth look of lost rare series only one episode exist am glad we have have this as many british television  shows in the 1960s have been wiped or dumped right through the 1970s . 
Police Surgeon looks a great show not dated compare to some shows and characters come across real and believable gritty of real feel of the 1960s before Z CARS from the BBC . 
Ian Hendry performances is just great  .
